Calling All Artists!
The Randolph Arts Council and the Sara Smith Self Gallery are pleased to announce the 42nd Annual Juried Art Show exhibit, to be displayed in the Sara Smith Self Gallery at the Randolph Arts Council. This exhibit will feature a collection of artworks created by local artists in Randolph County and its surrounding areas. The Juried Art Show is a judged or “juried” exhibit where all works submitted will be chosen to be displayed at the discretion of the Juror. This gallery serves to inspire and recognize the talent and artistry of both new and experienced artists by displaying a curated selection of “juried” works to be shared with others.
Submission Due Date – 5:00pm Monday, March 23, 2026
Gallery Opening Tuesday, April 7th – Friday May 1st, 2026
Sales and viewing of artwork will be availableduring regualr biusiness hours Wednesday – Saturday, 11:00am – 5:00pm (subject to change for holidays).
Payment of the entry fee to participate, $30 for members; $35 for non-members will be due upon art drop off cash, check or card.
Cash Prizes will be given for Best in Show ($150), First Place ($100), Second Place ($75) and Third Place ($50). Plus 1-2 honorable mentions prizes ($25) decided by Juror(s)
Submission Instructions
This submission form must be completed to participate and allows you to submit up to three pieces of your own original art. Please answer all “REQUIRED” (*) questions in order for your artwork to be displayed and sold. It is important for all parties involved to understand all of the details; preferences of the artists, the responsibility of each party, and RAC’s consignment partnership. Artists’ retail prices must include your commission as well as RAC’s portion of the sale as outlined on the artist agreement at the bottom of this form. Artwork submitted must be of your own creation and cannot have been previously displayed at a RAC gallery.
Artwork, for submitted artists, may be dropped off at RAC 123 Sunset Avenue Asheboro, NC 27203 March 13th -25th during our regular business hours (Wednesday – Saturday 11am-5pm). Art that is not selected by the Juror to be included in the show may be picked up during the opening night reception or during our regular business hours the following week. The Randolph Arts Council and the Sara Smith Self Gallery are pleased to announce the December 2025 Artist Hang-Up exhibit, to be displayed in the Sara Smith Self Gallery at the Randolph Arts Council. This exhibit will feature a collection of artworks created by local artists in Randolph County and its surrounding areas. Our goal is to encourage creativity at every level with the “Artist Hang-Up”, offering artists of all levels of experience an opportunity to display and sell their original artwork.
The “Artist Hang-Up” serves to inspire and develop confidence in new artists, by displaying their unique artistic talents to be appreciated and shared with others. This exhibit is an opportunity to recognize not only new artists but those who are experienced, and are continuing to experiment with or perfect their art.
The Randolph Arts Council will host an opening reception on Tuesday, December 2nd at 5:30pm.

As of right now art drop off is set for Saturday November 29th 11am-5pm
You are welcome to drop off prior to this date during our regular shop hours Wed-Sat 11am – 5pm (RAC will be closed Thursday November 27th for Thanksgiving)
Submission Instructions
The form below allows you to submit up to three pieces of your own original artwork of any medium, to be included in the upcoming exhibit, opening on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025, to be displayed through December 31st 2025. Due to the limited space of the gallery there is a limit on how many pieces we can accept, and submissions will be looked at on a “first come first serve” basis.
In the section below, please answer all “REQUIRED” questions in order for your artwork to be displayed and sold. Artists retail prices must include your commission as well as The RAC’s portion of the sale as notated on our artist consignment agreement at the bottom of this form.
This form must be submitted no later than 5:00PM Friday November 21th, 2024. The required payment of a $10.00 entry fee may be paid in person during art drop off, once the artist has received notice of their acceptance, in the form of cash, credit/debit card or check payable to the Randolph Arts Guild.
